The 10th Annual Miles for Midwives 5K Fun-Run and Birth & Wellness Fair brings together runners, families and midwifery supporters for a day devoted to maternity care improvement and community wellness.

Karen Burgin is the linchpin for the midwives of New York City and their history. Her limitless efforts in managing the NYC Midwives membership process while editing and publishing Metro Midwives provides an amazing communication network that binds us together and energizes us to do more than we might have planned to do. After more than two decades of service to the women, babies, and midwives of NYC, Karen has never lost her beautiful smile, her gentle spirit and her unending generosity.
